An  unfortunate kick from a boarder's horse,  on Jan 19th 2001, severely damaged Chexy's right hock.  After 3 surgeries, and rounds of antibiotics to keep the bone infections at bay,  she foundered in her other good back leg, and was thus euthanized.   Her clownish, playful personality will always be missed!!  She would have made a really nice cowhorse, since she was constantly cutting the other horses and dogs!
